Bailey Ellsworth
Sport Analytics and Statistics 2028
Fort Lauderdale, FL
If you ever see someone sprinting to grab Chili's cheese sticks and a late night sweet treat from her DoorDasher at 11 p.m., it's probably your O-Week mom, Bailey. Originally from Fort Lauderdale and a Sports Analytics major, Bailey's your go to if you want to talk sports, especially baseball, whether it's talking stats or spilling game tea. But when it's time to actually watch the game? She's on her feet, yelling at the screen, jumping up and down, fully locked in. She's also always down for a spontaneous beach trip and she'll be the first one in the water, swimming out farther than anyone else before you've even stepped in. That's just who Bailey is: when she's passionate about something, whether it's a sport, a beach day, or the people she cares about, she's all in. Get to know her, and you'll quickly realize she loves giving everyone a fair share of her sarcastic jokes, but behind those jokes, Bailey is one of the most thoughtful, grounded, and caring people you'll ever meet. She's definitely got major mom vibes, but in the best way possible. She's always making sure things are running smoothly and everyone's taken care of. Need a solution to a problem? Bailey's on it. Need to grab a sweet treat? She's already got her shoes on. She's the mom everyone needs. You couldn't ask for a better O-Week mom than Bailey.

Richard Bosch
Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) 2028
Timnath, CO/USA
If this wonderful man is your O-Week father, you have won the Will Rice lottery. Originally born in Nevada, Richard Bosch is one of the most kind, hardworking, and outgoing friends you will find at Will Rice (not to mention the cutest!). He cares so much for others, having dedicated hours and hours (including several all-nighters) just to help folks with their school work or listen to their problems. He somehow manages to simultaneously be friends with everyone at Rice despite having a complete lack of social awareness and spending 99% of his time at the OEDK (Oshman Engineering Design Kitchen). Richard is also a total nerd, who will yap about rockets for days upon end if you let him. He is super duper smart, and one day he will found a company that will rival SpaceX, NASA, and Apple combined. If you need to know anything about electrical engineering, rocketry, or computers, Richard is your guy. If you don't need to know about that stuff, I highly recommend talking to him anyways. He will turn your darkest day around with his contagious positive energy, and inspire hope at your lowest point. Overall: S-tier friend, O-Week dad, and human being.

Esha Sarakinti
Health Sciences 2026
Frisco, TX
If you have Esha as your O-Week advisor, you might just be one of the luckiest incoming Will Ricers! Originally from Dallas, TX, Esha is one of the kindest, most hardworking, and genuinely caring people you'll meet at Rice. She always shows up for otherswhether it's to listen, give a much-needed hug, or just be there when you need someone to talk to after a long day, Esha is your person.
She's the friend who will hype you up before a big exam and then join you for a late-night boba run to celebrate. Esha is super involved on campus and your go-to for all things pre-med, REMS, or the Kids Are Scientists Too (KAST) program. During her downtime, you can find her baking treats, cooking up something delicious with friends, or watching Dance Moms:)) Ask her about her study abroad in Spain!
Esha is someone you can always count onwhether you've known her for five minutes or five years! O-Week wouldn't be the same without her, and you'll be so glad to have her in your corner this year!

Jaclynn Schwander
English, Art 2026
Dayton, Texas
Mamma Mia! It's Jaclynn Schwander! Congrats, the almost child star of Junior Masterchef turned Rice's unofficial 0.5 squirrel photographer (seriously, ask her for pictures) is your O-Week Advisor!! Hailing from Dayton, TX, Jaclynn has that small-town charm and big heart to match. Her country roots run deep, she's known for riding into the sunset on her horse Scoop (jk but not really?) and swing dancing from dusk till dawn. Jaclynn is an Art/English double major, but make sure to ask about her true passion: a scraggly yorkshire terrier named Gizmo. When she's not painting in her studio, you can find her perfecting her latte art at Chaus, baking her famous snickerdoodles in Martel kitchen, or thrifting pieces for her coastal grandmother wardrobe. On move-in day, get ready to be greeted by an ear-to-ear smile and a whole lotta love. Her warmth is only matched by the Houston heat and radiates in how deeply she cares for those around her. Anyone who has Jaclynn as their Advisor has won the lottery. Get ready for the best O-Week ever with Jaclynn! We love her and so will you <3
